The Huddle Up Foundation of Houston (HUFOH) is a non-stock, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing financial assistance in the form of grants to retired NFL players and the communities they serve. The organization focuses on the humanitarian side of post-football related issues, which include a financial literacy curriculum in coordination of social services to retired players and communities who are in need! The HUFOH’s mission is to empower retired NFL players who were pioneers of the game and who have greatly contributed to the NFL’s status as the most popular sport in America. HUFOH provides hands-on assistance to help retired players, their families and communities that deal with hardships they face on an everyday basis. The services include but are not limited to medical assistance, transportation costs for medical evaluations and surgeries, community housing assistance, financial assistance for utilities, medication, and coordination of services for food, automotive payments and childcare.
